Hackensack Cupboard

A red painted 'Hackensack' cupboard in two parts having a bold crown molding over a pair of reed molded doors above a base with three narrow drawers and a pair of reed molded doors on cut out bracket feet. Reed molding (sometimes referred to as 'match-stick' molding) was a favored design element of cabinetmakers in New Jersey. This piece has very minor repairs and some replaced brass hardware.
