A sterling silver cream jug by the London silversmith Charles Hougham, 1796. The jug with a strap handle and a rope molded edge above wriggle-work and 'Greek key' bright cut. The face with a large oval reserve. The whole raised on ball feet.
3 1/2 inches high, 5 1/4 inches long. 5.225 troy ounces. Hougham is listed in Grimwade as a smallworker.
