The above volume is the most thorough study of the artist and his known works to date. Our painting found in Pennsylvania is yet another portrait. The Oysterponds Historical Society in Orient, Long Island has another portrait in their collection. The subject, Captain Frederick King is pictured in a survey "Highlights from the Collection" by William McNaught which pictures Captain King along with a contemporary account, as well as a portrait of Cynthia Brown King, his wife.
