A George lll circular footed salver having an elaborate chased foliate decoration within a beaded and molded rim and raised on tripartite bracket feet. Hallmarks for 1787, the maker Elizabeth Jones, the duty mark, and London.

Elizabeth Jones is cited in: Women Silversmiths 1685 - 1845. The National Museum of Women in the Arts Phillipa Glanville and Jennifer Faulds Goldsborough.1990. Jones was entered into Goldsmiths Guild in 1782. She was the Widow of Robert Jones. She specialized in making salvers and trays.
